Your Vancouver Island real estate will be even nicer when you plant a vegetable garden. If you think that planting a vegetable garden is difficult, think again. It is easy to grow tomatoes, peppers and other vegetables, even if you have never before grown them. This is especially true when it comes to tomato plants.
While many people plant tomato plants as plants in May or even April, some would rather start these plants as seeds. This is the time to do that - in the winter. You can give them a healthy start by taking good care of them indoors. Plant them as seeds and the watch the sprout. As they outgrow their containers, continue to replant them and keep them watered.
